So now I work at ACC - Austin Community College to you folks from out of town - in the South Campus. My official job title is 'Computer Lab Support Technician', which is basically...fixing computers. Not even all of them, just the ones in the library, classrooms, computer center, and media rooms. It's roughly 130, all by me. So far, it's a lot of 'down time' as they say. I'm still getting the feel for things, but I defiantly love it a bunch more than my last shit job. I even get salary! And benefits! Insurance! And more money! Whoo! It's also like a mile from my house. So it's pretty much the most awesome job I've ever had, and I really like it here so far. All my co-workers are awesome and yeah...not so much to do. I get time to read blogs again! And write! I mean, if I feel like it. Today I actually had to do some work, re-imaged a few computers, re-installed some software. And then a lot of sitting around. I also get free classes and other wonderful shits!

Well, I really anticiapted wanting to write more. But...well, the bug ain't biting. Sufficient to say, I am pretty damn happy right now with life. The downside to all of this is I'm not going to be able to go to the playa this year...but, although it would be the best year ever for it (the temple! The Theme! Etc.) I'm not too broken up about it. I actually have a job I enjoy, I'm good at, it's more hands on, and there are plenty of freshly legal young ladies to gawk at while I fix computers. Ah, the benefits of academia!

So I'm off for now to dick about...ta ta!

Well a lotta shit's happened since I last wrote in here, and when I have time, I'll update it all and shit. Anyhoo, got an awesome new job at ACC South campus being a computer tech, I have an office and shit, I even have people under me. Wow. I'm a boss! Sort of, anyways.

Well this is just getting fucking weird. First, I pick up a book by John Updike, 'Run Rabbit', which I've had for months but just picked up; the next day he dies.

Then just seconds ago, I was watching some older UFC fights, like the first ones where there was no rules and Royce Gracie submitted everyone's ass, and so I wiki'd him. And then his dad, Hélio Gracie,who basically created Gracie Jiu-Jitsu...and who just died today. Well, yesterday by 15 minutes.

Well crap. I just accidentally posted the following to a worklog that was saved and sent up to desktop technicians. I wonder if this will cost me my shitty job...

Yikes - have I mentioned that I need a new job latly? Now that I actually have to work all the damn time (For less money even!) I don't have the time to dick around and read mah blogs and more importantly WRITE IN MY OWN DAMN BLOG. Oh wells. I had no idea as many people read it as I did until I stopped updating. (Thats like...7 people now. woo. almost book worthy...) anyhoo - so, keep yer peepers peeled for Computer Monkey and/or real estate jobs. Preferably one that has both, like one I saw on Austin-Chat t'other day (and I applied for!) so - I'll update when I can. and shit.

Myschievia was awesome as per always. I can't party like I once was able too and am fatigued all the time lately. Probably dying of something, but in the mean time I'm gonna start taking a multi-vitamin, something i should probably do anyways on account of the non-meat-eatery. Anyone recommend a good brand? SunHarvest any good, their store brand? There is a S.H. right by my house. For now.

Uh...Probably going to the warehouse tonight - leads something or another. I donno how I feel about being a 'lead'. Mostly I just like to help w/o the responsibility of a title. Plus I can't stand dealing with other people's egos and that seems to be a key component of being a lead. Also I wanna make me some me-art this year. Perhaps.

Moodwise I've been around a '5' for months on end now. No pills anymore. Well, I have been taking OTC pain killers for a while now for aches and pains and back shit that seem to have cropped up lately, but no Proazac(tm) or SSRI's or things what mess up my brain. Constant joint pain and shit nonsense stupid body worthless aging. Not happy, not sad, content-ious and often moody. I get angry sometimes too, which is kinda a new thing to me.

Being outside in East Texas helped regulate stuffs it seems. Man was it beautiful. Bugs even. Spiders even. Nice.

Weird, weird dreams. Cute dream-girls. A carousel out of control, flying to their deaths the younglings of another world. School classes I missed - despite being out of school for years. I still smoke in most of my dreams, how about that? Ingrained in the brain, ingrained. I wake up with my fingers parted like the legs of so many 17 year olds on prom night.

Near psychosis at one point on burn night. When will I learn that Three is One Too Many...

Alas, all is well - car stinks of poop and stale beer. Poop smell will elope with beer smell perhaps to breed new smells at the expense of Republican tax payers.

So I've been beyond sick these last three or four days. Still making myself go to work but it sucks ass, everything hurts, I'm full of fatigue, my throat is nothing but pain, my lungs are full of liquid candy, and last night I even had a certified fever. This sucks. I've done nothing but lay down and watch TV and feel horrible and chug Nyquil. I usually avoid OTC medications. Man, I wish we had socialized health care. Not that there is much that can be done, I think, except rest. So. I need more sleep, but I'm at work. Crap.
